We are so fortunate to be spending this weekend in Pittsburgh with my family. Great food, great friends, and great memories. Here are a handful of my favorite things to do in the city with children.
Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh – Ranked amongst the Top 10 Children Museums in the country, the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh offers a variety of activities for children including waterplay, so pack your water clothes!
Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium – Grab some dip n’ dots, ride the carousel and visit the African Safari, Asian Forest, Kids Kingdom, PPG Aquarium, Tropical Forest, Water’s Edge, and The Islands.
Duquense Incline – Ride the restored incline railway and get a beautiful view of the city from Mt. Washington.
Kennywood Park – Founded in 1898, Kennywood (Amusement) Park offers an array of roller coasters and dining options while maintaining the National Historic Landmark designation.
The Gateway Clipper – Sail down the river and learn about Pittsburgh’s past, present and future on the Gateway Clipper’s sightseeing cruise.
If you haven’t visited Pittsburgh, I would encourage you to do so. The city has a rich culture and has something for everyone!
