D-I-Y Minion Centerpiece

This past weekend we had a birthday party for my youngest son Trace at Spring Creek Inflatable Rentals, Inc. I’m very much a planner, but somehow the second child always gets the “shaft.” Here it was Friday night, and I just decided that I should do a centerpiece for his Minion themed second birthday party. I needed something quick, simple, and inexpensive! So here is what I came up with.

Supplies:

Curling Ribbon

Mason Jars

Minion Stickers

Scissors

Directions:

Cut strips of the curling ribbon and run a pair of scissors over them so they will curl.

Fill the Mason jar with blue ribbon first.

Next, layer yellow ribbon on top the blue ribbon.

Fill the Mason jar to your desired effect.

Adhere the Minion stickers (eyes & mouth) to the Mason jar.

I received so many compliments on the centerpieces and I must say, I’m pretty happy with how they turned out  considering I’m not too crafty!
